My name is Val, and I am the founder of PUSH Personal Development Courses. I have been an avocational instructor for human relations, goal setting, communication, personal development, and public speaking courses for 22 years. I designed the PUSH program to help people grow, be better public speakers, build leadership skills, improve teamwork, and set and reach goals.
During my time as a leadership instructor, I found great purpose in helping people transform their lives and become the best version of themselves. There were a few things , however, that I found could be better. Too many people could not afford the courses, and I wanted to create a course that was more affordable. I also felt like the course length of 8 weeks was too short to create lasting change. This is why all Push courses are 12 weeks long.
PUSH is a 12 week personal development program for building self confidence, becoming a better public speaker, setting personal goals, improving relationships, networking, dealing with stress, and becoming more comfortable in social interactions.
Whether an introvert or an extrovert, most of us have have some areas where we would like to be more comfortable, more confident and more skilled. The purpose of this program is not to change who we are, but to push ourselves and each other to expand our edges, explore our limits, and improve our personal relations skills.
This program is about putting what we learn into practice within a group setting, and applying it in our everyday lives. Throughout these 12 weeks, we will stretch, experiment with new approaches, have fun, and grow!
